West Bengal

A road trip around the West Bengal, starting out from Kolkata and stopping off at Barrackpore, Krishnanagar, Plassey and Murshidabad.

This was my first visit to this part of India, having previously visited the cities of Delhi and Mumbai and travelled quite a bit around the states of Kerala and Gujarat.

The purpose of the trip was to recce locations and shoot some footage for an as yet untitled documentary film that explores the journey of one Irish family in India during the period of British Colonial Rule.
